Soft Landscaping & Planting Plans

If you are happy with the general layout of your garden but feel it is looking a little weary then a simple re-vamp of the beds and borders may be all that is needed to bring a refreshing uplift to the environment.

Planting plans can be designed to suit many situations; to encourage wildlife, to bring interest to a shady corner or simply to add colour.  Plant species are chosen to suit client preferences and site conditions such as soil pH, soil structure, site aspect and drainage conditions.  The finished plan will show required numbers, location and final spread and are accompanied by a Plant Schedule showing plant name, quantity, pot size, plant type and tree size, and season of interest.

In addition, I can provide maintenance schedules to help you keep your garden looking great throughout the seasons and, if required I am able to source the plants and happily undertake their planting.

Horticultural Consultancy

As an RHS qualified Horticulturist, I am able to offer advice on all areas of gardening from propagation to pruning; from choosing the right plant for the right place, including vegetables and fruits, and creating wildlife friendly environments. 

Permaculture Design & Advice

Permaculture is about creating sustainable human habitats by following nature's patterns.  I have been following and studying this method in my own garden from many years now and am a member of the Permaculture Association (Britain).  I am happy to provide designs and advice using this organic and sustainable system.
